2288 Junkyard

Hello everyone
I have some progress to share from the last post.
I wanted to post a bit of a preview/prologue for ya’ll
plus accumulate the posts I’ve made on twitter
Ive got a lot of ideas for stories, but here’s the start - I will update with races n setting later
The year is 2288
The empire that man built in the stars has met with collapse.
Civil wars plague the once unified federation that man has built.
Each world is its own kingdom, with a few that remain loyal to Earth and its government.
Taking advantage of the shattered remnants of the worlds, two empires that bordered each flank of the once mighty human federation have fought many proxy wars for control of each of the faltering realms
On one side; the Sildorians - A race of long eared psychics, masters of craft and deeply religious. Slender, traditional and prideful, they seek to unify the Milky-way under its banner.
On the other, the Akkano - A sickly race obsessed with Biological manipulation, seeking new materials to save their culture from genetic disease.
The war is ever going, gangs, warlords and politicians all scrambling for a piece of power under the umbrella of one faction or another.
At the center of the galactic map is a world that once housed humanity’s greatest achievement, a ruined ecumenopolis. Once a powerhouse of humanity, now reduced to rubble.
Introducing the main character: James Marshal Scavenger and former vet. Lone wolf who wanders the ruins of Junkyard. His hobby is to build and sell what he can from the ruins to scrape by a living in the ruins of his homeworld.
Second on the list; Lydia Summers. Supporting anti hero Hacker, bio-mechanic, femme-fatal. A survivor of the war, she likes taking advantage of the various gangs, pitting them against each other for her benefit. Cat and mouse is her game.
Villain concept; Clinton Tanner; Governor of the Junkyard Politician, slime ball, and enjoys it. Former war profiteer. He sold weapons and eventually gained a seat of power. Now he wants to sell the junkyard's future off.
His enforcer will be the fun villain; Meet Devil Eyes. I'm thinking he will be a pure evil type, i'm working on his motivation but he WILL fuck shit up
